This cleverly designed weaning spoon does everything you need when weaning your baby. The super soft tip of the spoon gently tips the food into the baby’s mouth. When first learning to self-feed, babies can only strip food from a spoon, so if the spoon is too hard not all of it goes into baby’s mouth. That is why we’ve designed all our weaning spoons to make sure they are soft enough so that when baby’s tongue touches the spoon it pushes the food up gently into the mouth. Fuller baby, happy baby, happy mum.
When feeding from a jar or storage pot things can get messy if you use a spoon with a short handle, that’s why all our weaning spoons are designed with long handles so you can scoop food out easily. Plus, our anti slip handles make it easy for you to rest the spoon on a bowl without the worry of it sliding into the food.
With hygiene at the forefront of everyone’s minds our spoons add an extra layer of reassurance as they are made with BACSHIELD™ antibacterial technology. BACSHIELD™ is a commonly used silver-ion technology that provides antimicrobial product protection against unwanted microbes, recognised for centuries with no harmful effects. It works by preventing the growth of unwanted microbes that can cause product degradation, discolouration, staining or odour. This is achieved with silver ions, preventing microbes from multiplying.
BACHSIELD™ is tested to ISO 22196:2011 standards. We also undertake ongoing quality control tests and environmental risks. We use the most recognised leader and most trusted suppliers of antimicrobial technology for polymers and textiles.

CLEANING Before first use, clean the product. Clean before each use. Always wash the product immediately after use. Wash in warm soapy water and rinse in clean water or use a dishwasher (top shelf only). Do not clean with solvents or harsh chemicals. STORAGE AND USE Do not store or leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat. Do not store with or allow to come into contact with solvents or harsh chemicals. Do not allow product to come into contact with oil-based foods (e.g. oil/tomato based sauces) as staining will occur. Not suitable for use in a conventional oven or a combination microwave oven with the grill feature switched on.
